Follow steps to get your device jailbroken and have signal.

WARNING: The firmware contains the ipad baseband!

IPAD BASEBAND:
IF your iphone was produced week 28+ of 2011, DO NOT USE THIS FIRMWARE. YOU "WILL" brick your baseband!
NOTICE: by Upgrading the IPad baseband, you will not able to downgrade it back to a standard Iphone baseband and will have to coninue on the custom firmware tran
You will likely also lose the GPS function of your phone!
You are voiding any Apple warranties by doing this!

1. Download and Extract jailbreak_and_noservicefix_By_Sevan.rar
2. Put your sim card out of you iphone 3gs
3. Start 1.iDetector-V1.0.1.exe
4. Go INTO DFU MODE( if you don't know how to go inside DFU watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bITIiGswjFI )
5. Press on the big button "is my bootrom old or new"
6. If its the new bootrom you can go to the next step.
7. Start 2.IREB-r5.exe
8. press on the button iphone 3gs
9. Go into PWNED DFU(you see in IREB the instruction of DFU too)
10. You are now in PWNED DFU MODE
11. Open Itunes and press on with SHIFT on the recover button.
12. Press on the NewSevan_iPhone_3GS-5.1.1-9B206.ipsw and press ok
12. Wait till the phone is done
13. You see on your phone "No Sim card installed"
14. Put you sim card into your iphone and your phone will be activated.
15. Follow the instruction of you phone and you will be done.
The phone is jailbroken and you will not get the no service problem.
