Unlock iOS 5.1.1 on Your Jailbroken iPhone 4 / iPhone 3GS / iPhone 4S

While the jailbreaking part is being talked about, what about those who want to unlock their jailbroken iPhones?

Ultrasn0w fixer 5.1.1 to unlock your iPhone 4 / iPhone 3GS — Here is how to do it:

  • Step 1: Use latest Absinthe to jailbreak untethered.
  • Step 2: From Cydia, go to Manage > Sources
  • Step 3: Tap the Add icon, and enter the following URL: http://repo.iparelhos.com/
  • Step 4: Install Ultrasn0w fixer 5.1.1.
  • Step 5: Search and install the latest ultarsn0w till now i.e 1.2.5.

For those who saved tickets can unlock through SAM 5.1.1 activation backup:

  • Step 1: Jailbreak using Absinthe 2.0.
  • Step 2: Install SAM 5.1.1
  • Step 3: Revert Lockdown to stock
  • Step 4: Save the activation backup ticket to the path: /var/root/Library/Lockdown
  • Step 5: Reboot the device
  • Step 6: Disable SAM
  • Step 7: Reboot, and signals will appear.

Unlock iPhone 4S iOS 5.1.1 Baseband 2.0.12 With Gevey Ultra S

IPhone 4S users on baseband 2.0.12 can use Gevey Ultra S to unlock iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak. Order it from their official website. It's a passthrough SIM card which allows the SIM to be unlocked on the device to jailbreak it. There's no need to cut it as well or dial 112 either. It is compatible with iPhone 4S GSM SIM cards.
